Marketplace Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation

A cancellation fee can be levied against a customer on account of cancellation of orders by the customer on the platform. This fee is charged based on the time during which the customer opts to cancel the order upon placing or confirming the said order on the platform. 

Please note that there will be a free cancellation of orders only for the initial few hours of placing an order, specifically within 2-3 hours of placing the order. After that time frame passes, the cancellation fee will be levied on the available products. 

Why is a cancellation fee charged?

A cancellation fee is charged to compensate for the slot, effort and time spent in processing an order by the seller. It is also charged to compensate the logistics service provider for incurring a cost when they ship the order to you.

The cancellation fee charged by AxleMarketplace is either equal to or less than the charges borne by AxleMarketplace on account of the cancellation of an order by the customer. 

How is the cancellation fee charged?

The cancellation fee is deducted from the amount paid by the customer for the order the customer canceled. 

AxleMarketplace reserves the right to modify and/or waive off the Cancellation fee on a case-to-case basis. The fee is charged in Indian Rupees. You, the customer, are solely responsible for compliance of all applicable laws for making payments to AxleMarketplace or the sellers on account of any orders canceled on your end. 

Refunds

If you are unsatisfied with the purchase, AxleMarketplace accepts returns and exchanges within 30 days of the receipt. The items purchased must be returned in the original, unworn condition with the tags included and in the original packaging.

Please note that AxleMarketplace does not pay for return shipping or refund the original shipping charges. However, this statement does not apply if the item sent was damaged or the customer received the wrong item by mistake.

Please do not return items without first making a return request to AxleMarketplace. To make a return request, you must send a mail to hello@axlerate.com detailing why you want to return the order and attach a copy of the order information. After sending the mail, our customer team will process the information and reach out to you within 7 business days.

For exchanges

Once we receive the original item, we initiate the process to credit the original payment method and put in a new order. This process is free of any shipping charge for the exchange. In case you pay by credit card, you will see a credit for the original item and a new charge for the exchange on your statement.

Please note that credits can take up to a week to appear on a statement. This process could be shorter or longer based on the back/credit card company policies.

For damaged goods

In the event you receive merchandise that is damaged, please return the item(s) to us using the procedure above. Once we receive the item and check it at our warehouse, AxleMarketplace will refund the amount along with the initial shipping charges.

Reuse or recycled goods

If you have the original packing bag, you can turn it inside out, seal it with the defective item along with the paperwork inside. Once complete, attach a mailing label on the outside.

If you require a replacement rather than a refund, we will send it to you without any additional shipping charges.

When you return damaged goods to AxleMarketplace, please indicate if you want a replacement or refund to be made.

Refunds

All refunds are given in the form of the original amount. Credit card purchases require additional time for the credit amount to appear in your original statement.
